How To Clean Upholstery + Fix a Tufted Ottoman

Today I'm sharing an effective method for cleaning fabric upholstery with simple household products, as well as how I removed crayon wax and repaired buttons on our tufted ottoman.

I love how you don't just throw away something just because it is dirty or old. You clean it up or repair it, good for you!! It seems like we live in a "throw away" society and it's nice to see someone who takes care of their things. You are such a good steward, which is what the Lord wants us to be. Hillary I can not believe you've touched on this topic with the ottoman. My daughter just purchased the same one. She showed me the color options and she loved the lighter one like you have, I told her as much as I loved it it will get filthy so she went with a charcoal gray. She clearly wasn't as happy when it was delivered yesterday . If had only watched your video sooner I would have probably told her stick with her original choice. I feel kinda responsible for encouraging her to go with a darker color. Moms sure don't know everything. What an informative useful video.

Great tips Hilary! One more I use frequently is a product called Totally Awesome. You can buy it at Dollar General for $1. My daughter recently purchased a used vehicle. We cleaned all of the upholstery, and it looks brand new!
