Why didn't Colorado go with goal line / short yardage personnel to run the clock out? Why go for 4th down in the 1st half at your own 30 yard line? Why did the DC stay in man coverage while ND State continued running crossing routes?

Evaluate the team on the second-half adjustments. An improved version of that is more likely to be what we see through this season than the first-half sloppiness. Defense tightened up and CU put together a sustained drive. There is momentum to build on.

RJ yourself as a top analyst worldwide. It's a tough game period. Coaches can't play for players. Whereas players heavily depend upon Coaches to not make too many elementary mistakes. And if they do the players rightfully expect it to be resolved soon. This can be extremely hard on morale. And we all know top Coaches just don't make that many blunders. This game here was not a great look on both Coaching Staffs as a whole in some ways. Am I wrong here and being too critical?

I get they got sliced up in the first 18 minutes but Colorado’s defense gave up 9 points in the final 42 minutes. 3 of those were on a 25 yard field. They faired fairly well after they settled in

JELL !!! They will need time to jell just like every orher college team. And as that is happening, confidence will grow in some players, dejection and fear in others.
This is the same process as you'll see in a dance troop, comedians, garbage collectors and kindergarden children.
The exciting thing about football is, that it is impossible to predict. We are all guessing and telling ourselves what we hope will happen. Throw dice and call it out. We have no more control over those kids than we do the weather.
How about we simply ENJOY THE GAME. GAME... GAME...

#12 and #2 are ELITE. but the defense gave up 6pts the whole 2nd half. Huge improvement if you ask me. That 449 number is inflated by the 60yd Hail marry catch with :00 on the clock. They def need to improve, but they not as bad as they swem
