PBH told me if you have a gen 2 motor you have to use a gen 2 6r80 because the valve bodies are different and it screws with the tune. How is it working for you?

I used stainless works headers and it fit with the 6r80 AJE. I put everything in from the bottom all together. Can you show how you are going to wire in the paddle shift?

Glad you went 6r80. This is the swap I am doing. Let us know what drive shaft you go with. Nice, also buy scott rod panels for the engine bay. Just buy the rivet panels still looks dope.

Great advice, and cool that you went through all that you could think of, some like to act like it's top secret or some shit. Appreciate straight upness. I only always liked the standards due to them always being stronger and more dependable (especially Ford ALWAYS had weaksauce coursing through that era (A0D (E) original Auto's without having to re-fi the crib to make it semi bullet proof. I'm hearing good things about that 10sp as well, but curious as to which is better 6r80 or the 10spd auto and why is it mostly price?? (Anyone?) Thanks in advance .

I am building a 1993 notch now. and i am doing automatic.. I have a boss 302, and i mean its cool but man i get tired of having to shift. and the car only has 12k mile on it. Cool video i am curious to see how it turns out.
