Had that happen to me a little over a month ago with the chicken eggs. First time I experienced an egg do that, so I was unprepared. I was a little dumb-founded for a second while my brain processed everything. I decided to clean out the nest while Broody Bardie stretched her legs. She still ended up with 10 chicks. I'm so happy for her. She is a proud first-time Momma this year.

I finally found my duck's 4th nesting spot and 14 eggs. She hides them. She's currently getting anything she can find for nesting material, too.
