at the beginning of the movie, this song in the backround felt like revenge and fear and towards the end.. it almost felt exactly like hope and courage for what’s coming next. it just makes so much sense to use it in the movie

Never thought I would see a Nirvana song in a Batman movie but it couldn't be more perfect when it all happened. I believe this played in the beginning when Bruce was on his motorcycle cruising in Gotham. It was dark and depressing - really setting the tone of the film.

Oh, and the film is the best Batman movie since Dark Knight - definitely go watch it.

I love how in the beginning of the Batman movie the song is full of dread and angst, but by the end, turns hopeful instead. Nothing about the song is altered, but the context changes everything.

Kurt couldn't get this track laid down in the main studio and out of frustration he walked into the control room sat down and said "it has to sound like this" the sound engineer turned off the fans, unplugged the phone and anything else that might make noise and hit record on the tape machine "play it exactly how you want it sound and feel right now for me" the vocals and guitar are from that.

Something I loved about The batman, is this song is actually diegeticlly played in the batcave scene. Bruce is actually listening to it, he had to turn the song off when he's listening to the news broadcast about the 2nd victim. Such an awesome touch of sound design and scoring for the film. Very well done
