Over a year of intensive preparation for Cleveland area hospitals culminates next week as the Republican National Convention rolls into town. Expecting an influx of at least 75,000 people, hospitals across the city have prepared in collaboration to cope with every possible medical emergency. Efforts were led by the Secret Service, and 96 hours worth of supplies stand ready.

In this video, Michael Anderson, MD, of UH Case Medical Center, and Robert Wyllie, MD, of Cleveland Clinic, discuss how the citys' medical facilities prepared to handle any scenario from dehydration to a mass casualty event.
