Add some rice flour or wheat flour to onion pieces.Then add some salt, red chilli powder, curry leaf, coriander leaf in that mixture
Then you can go for deep fry in ball shape.
Out come will be soo yummy.
We Indians used to call this “ pakoda or pakodi “

You can make them in the microwave! No flour, it takes maybe 6-10 minutes depending on your microwave! The oil is flour-less and ready to use for flavoring dishes as well.

My mom always make fried shallot and she didn't use flour. She sprinkled salt on the shallots before frying them. my mom said, if you use flour it will reduce the taste of the shallots.

Pro tip: first salt the shallots and drain access liquid. And.. add paprika powder to the flour 😉👌

Just flick a little water at your oil to see if it’s hot. Just a little. Like when your playing, and flick water at someone with wet hands. That way no fried food gets left behind.
