Two things I would add as a resident:
1. It is a STREETCAR, not a tram or a trolley
2. If you are wearing beads when there is not a parade going on, you are probably a tourist.

As someone from New Orleans, i was so ready to be mad at this, but when they put Frenchmen over Bourbon i was sold
At the very least, the list is accurate.

My former neighbor from Chalmette wanted me to know that those girls who lift their shirts at Mardi Gras, are not local girls from New Orleans. She slso said locals have nothing to do with Bourbon St.

Looking forward to the Crescent City Blues and Barbeque Festival this year. 3 years ago we went to the French Quarter Festival and had a great time. The people of New Orleans are wonderful, friendly and charming. Can’t wait to go back. Love you NOLA

Pro tip from a local: those friendly guys in the french quarter are con artist. GASP. They can smell a tourist from 80 feet away. When they ask where you got your shoes, the answer is always "New Orleans." You're welcome.
