I was told that these were heat blisters but this makes more sense.

Used to get it in school. And stress always made it flare big time.

Getting my allergies under control with shots is what helped the most but every now & again it pops ups again. Only yhing that stops the itch is popping the blisters & dumping on peroxide to dry out the ooze! And yes, I KNOW, but it's the only thing that works! Doctors don't really care so *shrug* I do what I gotta do!

I use ice packs to soothe and calm the skin when it's itchy and inflamed and then I apply pure aloe vera gel to moisturize the affected skin (I use the clear colored gel, not the colored aloe vera because there's dye in them and that can't create a different type of allergy).

I got this every year for a while as a kid, my family doctor didn't have an explanation and the creams/suggestions she offered didn't help. Eventually I saw someone suggest soaking eczema or rash covered body parts in cool water with baking soda and it relieved the pain and itch considerably. It didn't make the rash go away, but it made it bearable. The next time I felt the first tingling signs of it coming on I tried preemptively soaking my hands with baking soda and found that somehow it managed to stop it in its tracks! Ive been taking cetirizine hcl for a number of years now and don't feel the reaction get triggered often anymore, but the baking soda water soak hasn't failed me over the past decade or so

I used to get this all the time. What worked ? Sulfer soap. It immediately dries it out and boom in a few days it’s gone. My husband just used it on his feet and his is gone. I wish drs would tell patients to try this. It’s 4-5 dollars a bar on Amazon. I used to get this for years, dr would prescribe $60 medicated creams. Did biopsies ect Try the sulfer soap.

I did have this, but only when I lived at one particular apartment for a year. Never came back after I moved...

I have this right now! At least I think I do lol. I only get them on my thumb, pointer and middle finger. But sometimes I feel like I'm going to scratch my whole dang thumb off. Guess it's time for a trip to the doctor

Thanks, I've had this since my early 20s. They get super itchy and I also have it on my toes.

This affects me, I get them on my fingers during times of high stress and they itch. I also get them around one eye. I’ve found chewing hibiscus leaf into a paste and applying it provides immediate relief, but hibiscus infused oil is what I use in place of moisturizer in the care steps mentioned in the video.
Easy to make: hibiscus leaves mashed in a container, add oil of your choice (I like almond or jojoba), let sit 4-8 weeks, use oil as you would any low-viscosity moisturizer.

Thank you so much for breaking this down, very informative, helpful and straight to the point without overwhelming information.
I developed this in my mid 20’s and heavy hand/lotion cream (0/ to no fragrance) throughout the day really helps when this happens.

Just started getting this about a month ago at 33. Definitely stress related. I found some relief using a balm made up of jojoba oil and coconut oil plus some other natural ingredients. It's called "bee balm". I use another essential oil blend that is tea tree based to chill out the itching when it flares up. That being said, it's gotten worse in the last couple days so this was helpful. The worst is the itching in the middle of the night. I wake up and scratch aggressively before I can stop myself. I'm also a bartender which means I'm using cleaning products all day long. I'll try the glove trick. Thank you for this!

I developed this at the start of COVID. Was originally told it was contact dermatitis because I could trigger it with foaming hand soaps and sanitizers, as well as certain lotions. Later figured out it was this and now get a couple spots every month or so

Suffered with this for months after starting a new antidepressant. It was so severe I went to the hospital many times. Once I got off the medication, it subsided. I’m hoping if I get on a different medication, it won’t come back.

Have you heard research about drug induced dyshidrotic eczema?

I had these a few years ago and thought I was going crazy, I didn't remember burning myself.

Used to get these as a kid, my thumbs and index fingers were covered in them, doctors didn’t really know what it was at the time. They left some scars that have never gone away after 20+ years.

I've had this from time to time. It seems to be linked to prelonged sun exposure. And you're right, it itches a lot.

Yes, I have this too. It's gotten bad with the increase of stress in life. I constantly use eczema cream and a steroid cream. I don't know that it makes much difference. 😢
