Fun fact, did you know in hello neighbor pre-alpha after you get done with the basement door, he does almost all the things they listed in the AI video, like going to sleep, cleaning, washing his hands even if he’s just standing still, and watching the TV and exercising

Alpha 1 has to be my favourite build. There’s many ways to get into the basement like the crowbar under the bed or the key in the pram, and I loved the variety of chase music, the second track being my favourite. I like how the first floor feels like the pre-alpha, but still adds stuff to it so it feels fresh. The ambience from the pre-alpha is still present and adds to the game so well. Also, the original menu is present in this version when you press “m” being the only one to be written in English. So, there is your rant from one comment viewer to another!

Fun fact: the reason why the early player wasn't used in alpha 1 was because nicky's model had already been finished before the early player model

I’ve broken the game in pre-alpha some times (or just playing it long enough) To the point where he rearranged his house and there’s a closet in place of his couch so he can’t watch tv, he fixes his tires sometimes, and looks under nothing when he knows you’re in his presence. I generally like pre alpha a whole lot, maybe even more than alpha 1.

1:16 It was used... but only in the prototype version, so basically in the trailer after the player picks up the key on the kitchen table the neighbor appears and starts chasing them, but if you look closely, you can see that its that same running animation

Also, it's fun that you can escape him by sleeping.

In alpha one, there was different chase music. There's also the only time the Jack hammer appeals.

10:53 most assume you put the bear in the fire, although, it is actually the rusty key *under* the bear that you put in the furnace. That gets you a key that can be used on the basement (yes it works)

Edit: the original key under the bear before the fire, isn’t supposed to work on the door, but there were problems with the coding when connecting the two keys.

everything from prototype to alpha 1 has gotta be the best of the hello neighbor games. the in-game story and gameplay are so unique.
they should 100% make a hello neighbor movie based on the alphas rather than the generic story filled modern HN games. a movie actually scary that leans more towards are R rating and not loke the fnaf movie
