Three J&K photojournalists Dar Yasin, Mukhtar Khan and Channi Anand working with Associated Press  have bagged the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in feature photography. The three have been awarded the coveted prize for extra ordinary photo journalism about life in the lockdown enforced in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5 last year. Yasin and Khan are based in Srinagar while Anand is based in Jammu. After the awards were announced they took to twitter to thank their colleagues and friends.
The news of the Pulitzer Prize going to the three  and their pictures celebrating the exceptional feat with their families brought cheer to Kashmir. A flood of congratulatory messages pouring in on the social media.

Extremely praiseworthy task done by these three journalist. They deserve the prize as they showed the ground reality of the struggle of Kashmiri people against aggression the of Indian soldiers.
