I think the mixup was to include the actor and connect drake to shady osteen. He knew we would understand the following lines would be referencing the actor. But the mixup was to add another layer to the lyric.

I do think it’s intentional because of the parallels between Haley Joel Osmand saw dead ppl aka ghosts and Joel Osteen is a pastor who is someone you would seek advice/counsel for seeing ghost. I imagine Kendrick feels like osmand cuz he sees ghost (drakes writers/dead ppl as he feels he has to eliminate them with his bars) and therefore saying his 6th sense telling him to off him. Almost like a confession to the pastor Joel Osteen. Idk, only person that knows is Kendrick and his crew lol.
