Wellbeing Economy Secretary Neil Gray was asked if he supported Rosebank at a press briefing about Scotland's finances.

While Scotland received more than £9 billion in North Sea revenues last year, a further £78.1 billion went to Westminster – which amounted to 7.7% of all UK revenue.

Mr Gray said the Gers figures show how “the UK continues to benefit from Scotland’s natural wealth”.

Mr Gray was asked if he supported Rosebank and he tried to deflect from the question.

don’t ask an SNP member to actually answer a question honestly.
Oil was going to the backbone of an indie Scotlands economy, now they want rid of fossil fuels. Comical.

Today's Brent crude oil price is 97 dollars per barrel.
The Rosebank oil field off the coast of Scotland is predicted to produce million barrels of oil.
The three hundred million barrels of oil at today's price is worth dollars.
The Scottish people will see very little of this money.
The 533 English Westminster MPs who the Scottish people don't vote for will make sure that Westminster and the private foreign oil companies take the money from this Scottish asset.

yes we need oil and yes it does pollute but there are thousands of
scientists in the the uk if they all put there minds to it we could
solve this problem for example on a car these days there is such a thing
called a catalytic converter which takes away the carbon dioxide from
the fumes and releases it as clean air surly they can create this type
of system for burning oil etc.

Not a decision I have to take but happy the UK government is. When we get independence we will have the revenue thanks to the UK government.
