I just received mine yesterday. I tried to buy locally the most I can. However, you are also somebody to whom I want to throw some business because you have done more to educate me about vintage hi-fi systems than any of the local stores. I hope to find somebody as friendly and enthusiastic as you in my local area.

It's funny, when I got the receipt, you had written "Thank you. Kevin" it's like I was getting a note from a celebrity and an old friend at the same time even though I've never met you. 🙂. That will be saved with my hype sticker. 🙂

Why won’t they let a real audiophile label do a real high quality reissue?

Beautiful appearance indeed. However, is it beautiful sounding? I'm sure the audio quality is, but I'm referring to the mix. I honestly listened to this album hundreds of times (the original vinyl mix, of course) back beginning in 1973. Thus, it was indelibly imprinted on my brain. A number of years ago, I purchased the "latest and '"greatest'" remixed atrocity. I cannot listen to it; the mix is, although subtly, different. WHY OH WHY do people feel the need to totally MUCK UP an original recording/mix to supposedly "make it better?" PHOOEY
