No one seems to be able to edit these songs together without an obvious "pop" in between the singular songs so here's my attempt.

My roommate said the other day, it's like you're from another planet, the moon. I said the dark side of the moon. He doesn't get my cosic enegy but listening to Pink Floyd reminds me that imagination and mystical realms are what was happening during this era of music. "Taking away the moments of a dull day... fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way..." That was life then, smoking weed and listening to music and lying in the sun in So. Calif. Can't beat life then. Now it's much crazier but then it was Peace, Man! Loved it!

When I was 17, my grandma, who was basically my second mother, was dying in the hospital of cancer. She was on a morphine drip at the house, and became unresponsive. On Mothers Day 2015, she was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I was in my hometown visiting her in the hospital, and had missed a week of school. I had to go back to my dads house, an hour away, to get my homework( not like I was going to do it), and Time came on the radio as I left her house. I remember it being a very cloudy day out, and I had a strange feeling, but I pushed on. I picked up a friend at the time to ride with me, and we went. I got my stuff from my dad’s house and came outside and got the call that she left us. My heart was broken. I was inconsolable, and had to have my friend drive us back home. I knew it was coming, I knew her time was short, I blamed myself so hard for not being there, and I still regret not being there in that moment. But I know she was watching over us on the journey back. She loved rock and roll. AC/DC, Sabbath, and Floyd especially. I’m so thankful for having her in my life and for her showing me what good music is. I’m listening to this today at work and as Time cuts into Great Gig in The Sky, I wept like a fucking baby 😂 thank you for this. ❤

I had a 1981 Z28 and this on 8 track, T tops. It was a glorious time, youth doesn't know what it has. I went to Korea in 1983 and there was a club called the Moon club in Tong Du Chon which played Pink Floyd all the time. Great times.

When you’re 6 years old and dad and his buddies decide to step out of the studio for a ‘smoke’ but leave you alone with this album spinning on the turntable, it’s downright creepy. It’s like an imprint that has remained with me all my life. 54 now and I treasure every lyric. I would say this brilliant work of art has helped save me and guide me through uncertain times…..
