If anyone uses TikTok as their source, they deserve a crap keyboard.

You answered your own question. *They don't understand keyboards.* They just buy the most popular product they see.

the fact that they are stealing the market with 60% keyboards honestly blows my mind. i feel like 75% should be the bare minimum

It's a gateway. I got a Ducky One 2 mini as my first and it got me curious. After looking around, dear God there's so much better

Theres a good keyboard called the tech ware phantom for 50 bucks basically its pretty good especially once you get nice switches

I swear I can understand people getting an keyboard expensive as that for like competitive advantages or for aesthetics, but when spending 120-200 dollars on a keyboard that only is good for their keycap design is outrageous.

Unrelated: i live in finland so my options for keyboards are very limited

I bought that keyboard because I saw one of your shorts and it is amazing. The RGB is great. The keyboard delay is nonexistent like just get that. I think people get high ground because it looks cool not because of the performance or anything.

For the same price of a high ground you could get a womier, prebuilt Akko, or if you could be bothered to do a little building yourself you could get a Neo65 that’s in stock. I mean seriously a Neo 65 with a plate and some prelubed switches would be around the same price. The only other thing you’d have to pay for is some dielectric grease for stabs

Higround boards are literally just cheap $50 GK boards with branding. Just build a 67lite, nk65, black label, or any other entry level custom

Let’s talk about how they tried to copy the wooting and ended up worse than the razer huntsman mini

The base camp keyboards are aluminum based and the only reason I got one is because it was on sale for $90, I love the rgb, and the overall design was unique

tbh i don't understand the appeal of enthusiast keyboards. like aestheticly speaking they look great but my preference leans more having a full keyboard and a wired connection, and while most of the wireless keyboards have a port that i assume can be used as a wired connection; the keyboards not having a num pad or any of the extra keys on a full keyboard is a deal breaker for me personally. even if im not going to use like half of those extra keys its still better to have them than not, the more buttons the merrier. literally the only reason why i got the g600 mouse, i like the extra 12 buttons on the mouse

Even their barebone is around 160 usd. Haha. I think I'm gonna stay with my cheapest mecha keyboard. The Aula F2088 with Typewriter style keycaps. I just taped mod it. haha
