Superposition of Waves

Показать описание
A very old school demo. With no black plastic inserted, a red wave is shown. The plastic molds create a pattern with the green beads, and the new red wave is the sum of the new green wave and the original red wave. You can see constructive and destructive interference by shifting the green pattern left and right.

Filmed by Dave Morton at Columbia College Chicago.

I have been trying to memorise the definition but couldn't cause I didn't really understand the theory. This helped me to finally understand it. Thanks a lot.

I was just showing a few co-workers this principle. I dig the model. It could be a game: guess the final wave.
