Great video! One thing I think you didn't mention is that holding high profile and crouch lets you sprint while also disable any climbing/jumping/sliding moves. Very useful for interiors where you recommended to let go of high profile.

I love how ac has a community that can and will often sacrifice effectiveness for style

This is fantastic, thank you for making this.
Most people won't understand the ridiculous amount of effort and time-investment needed to build this kind of video, especially one of this length, with this amount of information in it.
You kicked ass, buddy.

I can't begin to think of what a complete version of this system would play like.

It's cool how deep this parkour system is
I kinda miss it in newer games in the series

ACUnity's parkour is just.... mesmerizing! Half the time I was rewinding the video just to listen to the instructions properly, cause I was constantly drifting with the parkour.

It's kind of odd how the game never really gave a clear example of how to do side hops, so some players would have probably never known about it despite it being such a vital piece to Unity's parkour.

I’m proud of myself for figuring out some of these naturally. Great video goes very in depth

Its crazy how this actually looks way better but came out way before the new AC games

The controlled decent was one of my favourite features in Unity. It was really important too as so many buildings are really tall.

Reminds me of that one time I jumped from top of bastille, and somehow managed to use breakfall, right before hitting the bottom of the mote, surviving.

I like how Arno is referred to by his name and not by 'your character' or something else, it puts so much life into him for me and feels so nice. great video.

Man this is absolutely amazing. Gotta love that there is still so much love for unity!

That breathtaking almost leap of faith jump is soooo satisfying, I still can't believe they never thought of keeping such movements in later games.

Jcers, the last few weeks, I've been playing unity extensively and your guide is partly responsible since it helped me understand the game mechanics better. A lot of the frustrating moments where Arno seemed to not do what I instructed him to do have simply disappeared, and I have no words for how liberating that feels. Thank you for this detailed guide 🤗

Finally took the time to give this video a proper viewing. You really broke down everything I could think of in regards of movement, covered some stuff I never bothered to think about (for example tree parkour) and some of the stuff I unconsciously knew from having played the game so much, but not something I'd think about when trying to teach somebody about the game (like movement after high profile kills).

Very well done, I've bookmarked the video for when I encounter someone else struggling with Unity :)

Awesome work man! This is prolly the best video of this kind I’ve seen. You clearly have a great understanding of Unity’s movement and have done a great job at communicating that understanding to others with this video.

There are entire rooftops you can vault over in a single bound. Experiment with holding parkour down in places you think it might work. Hell, experiment in places you don't. You just might pull off something super rare and crazy like the elusive long kong

Unity's fall damage is very forgiving, especially with certain boots and the recovery roll skill. If you get stuck midway down a wall with little or no furniture to catch yourself on, you can safely back eject as many as three stories to get down very, very quickly. Just make sure there aren't any enemies in your landing zone since you can't cancel out of this if you change your mind

Really impressive stuff figuring out how to recognize the geometry for the dive. That was always a move I loved, but had no idea how to use it reliably
