Dear friend, I am extremely sorry for your loss! My Partner’s Mother is in a home, suffering from dementia! She has become “non-verbal” now. The last time we saw her, was last year Thanksgiving! She still remembered the both of us. My Partner’s Father is still living and in good health, so he visits her all the time. As for my Partner and I, we keep in close contact with her Father for any info. Than you for letting everyone share the last days of Miss Betty! You are in our prayers!

We did the same thing with my mother in law and you are doing the best for both your mom and dad. Dealing with a loved with dementia, hospice, and making pre-arrangements is a very hard process.

Go to the pharmacy and tell them to stop auto refills. I had to do this for my dad.
