i just bought a dozen extra large eggs.. first 4 eggs I cracked are double-yolks. I'm guessing the rest of the eggs will be double yolks. Are they somehow inducing the chickens to produce double-yolked eggs?

Man and here i thought my 1st time egg laying hen on her very first was super special. It was a double yolk. However with that being said she laid the egg yesterday but didnt today. Could this possibly be why. I am in northern indiana so it is getting cold right now but it doesnt hurt to ask if its possible, right? 😊

More than one yolk in an egg means one thing the chicks are twins type siblings....like we have twins, triplets, etc
