Today I have a real treat for you guys. On my desk right now is what might be the only 32” 4K 144Hz glossy mini LED monitor with over 1000 local dimming zones in the world. Right now.

And let me tell you. it. looks. amazing.

And I know what you're wondering. What is it and where can I get my hands on it. Well fellas this is actually the KTC M32P10 which I just reviewed and promised I would be removing the finish on.

And as you can see. I did.

But I didn’t just use the ole water and paper towel trick as not only does this usually not work anymore, but it almost certainly would void your warranty, and leaves you with no protective layer between you and the polarizer making cleaning the display riskier for those who don’t know the proper way to do so.

Nope, I actually buffed it out, but not only that, I created a method which can be cheaply and easily replicated theoretically across all displays, because just like Thanos after years of trying to get other companies to make displays that are actually good, I decided enough was enough, fine I’ll do it myself.

I buffed out my sceptre nebula 27. Took roughly 7 passes of both 3 and 2 by hand but the results were well worth it. Not only do the colors pop out of the screen, but the brightness and contrast are greatly improved. Much respect to you man. I got this thing to a perfect mirror finish using your method.

I sure hope that display makers finally start to give us glossy displays so we don't have to resort to outrageous mods like this. It's insane that they haven't started addressing this yet. Do you think we should start a petition? I'm sure at least one company would listen.

I did this on a dell 27" 1440p a few years ago, cutting compound to haze it up and then sprayed 2K headlight clear on it. Came out like glass and ultra durable.

I so want a 34inch mini led monitor to replace this AW3423DW. I am now at the point where I cba baby sitting OLEDs and honestly use my PC a lot more for other things that can very easily burn the monitor in. Oh and yes... I want glossy displays although I really dont think I would be able to get one without spending far... Far more than what you would charge as I live in the UK

ordered the novus, gonna try it on a free monitor from marketplace and see how it goes edit: worked very well, now have a beautiful glossy monitor and will be doing this on my main :)
