I think what really makes this video great is the way you keep looking at the camera. You aren't "maintaining eye contact" the way professional success motivators encourage, you're looking over like you're excited about what you're doing, and you're trying to see your buddy's reaction to it.
It's a really charming touch, almost makes you feel like you're there as the viewer, learning from a friend.

Great video! A little undercooked, but I’m cool with my salmon that way. I’ve made the mistake of not leaving it in the pan long enough plenty of times.
I wanted to share that basting the flesh vs the skin is best! It not only browns the fish and gives it a beautiful color, but it really develops the flavor as well
