OMG! Thank you! My cod is soo good. I had no idea you can cook from frozen. Tender and flaky.

I have been cooking for 28 years, and I think this is the first time I have cared to comment on a recipe/technique video!
I made my frozen cod fillets using this method last night (I used my usual baste, not the olive oil.) following the technique exactly, and OMG..I am a convert for life! I will never defrost fish fillets again. As I used my usual recipe, and changed only the technique, I can confidently say this is the way to go people!

My mind was BLOWN. (I ALSO used a small but deep cast iron pan, not the recommended non-stick, and it worked BEAUTIFULLY!!!)

Thank you. It was on sale today and I could not afford to pass it by, I was just not sure how to cook it.

The fish wasn’t thawed at all? Just frozen fish directly on the pan? But rinsing with water would make coating with oil difficult and searing also a problem, no?

This video explained nothing...it says "cook" cod. It didn't say broil, bake, pan-sear? nothing thumbs down
