Morning evening devotion both in a day gets you through the Bible in 1 year or just the morning portion 1 year and next year the evening portion is the 2 year plan.

I have the faux leather floral. I’m currently using for morning devotions. May purchase a few for gifts. I really like that the reading plan is already mapped out and the devotions are short. The devotions also correspond to the reading for the day. Font size is great. It would have been nice to have a table of contents with the books of the bible especially for new believers. Thanks for the review, the pink is so pretty.

I'm reading the NLT. I'm in Acts and so I know I'll finish way before the end of the year. It's not my first read through but it is for this translation. I started at the beginning. When I read a Bible with a built in reading plan I often will not keep up with it. I think it's because I feel like I'm just reading the words - you know? My plan was to read 4 Chapters daily. Sometimes it was more or less and I missed a day here or there and gave myself grace for it. I really recommend this version especially for new Christians because it reads like a novel. I often read it in tandem with another version - usually my NIV Life Application Study Bible because it has such good extras like telling who wrote the Book, when and where, a timeline of events, the footnotes, bios on certain characters and lots added that is good if you want to really get into it. I think I may read the NIV next year only I think I'll start in the New Testament. I also want to do a deep dive into Revelations - so I may only read the NT next year. I ordered the Humble Lamb NLT and it will come at the end of January. I'm excited to get it. I know you have a few of their Bibles. I don't think I'll be able to mark it up. I have MANY different ones and didn't really need another one - but I couldn't resist. It was the first time I'd gotten in on the presale - otherwise I probably wouldn't have ordered it. Gotta watch those pennies nowadays.
