This is my “Master Class” for OBS Studio. I’ve spent basically all of 2017 researching, scripting, revising, shooting, and producing this course, and I’m quite proud of what it’s become. Great stuff! People also need to be aware that there are a LOT of things that can affect their internet connection, quality and the likes, OUTSIDE the house. You can only control what happens up to where it plugs into the wall. After that, it's out of your hands. The "Last mile" internet is where a lot of people have problems, and only their ISP can fix those.

Any idea what to do when your entire setup was working fine for about a year and then days ago started spiking down to 0kbps every 20 seconds? tracerts show the route ending just after my isp as it tries to connect to the first twitch hop. three 50 min phone calls later and they're 100% positive theres no issue on their end.

Have a question. Whenever I set my bitrate to 3500 it goes higher then that and then lower than 3500 but stays green

So my OBS is able to RECORD everything including the audio just fine. The only issue is, when I have my Bluetooth headset connected, when I start recording, I am no longer able to hear anything but I am pretty sure the audio is still being recorded. When I try to disconnect my headset to restart it (which works when it is having issues outside of OBS) it does not work and says it’s connected even when it’s turned off until I close down OBS. I do not have this problem when I use earbuds physically connected to the laptop via port. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know why...but after 2 hours of live....live went offline...and can't reconnecting on the same live....but it was all good settings...all green...4100 kb/s

Does it also matter what type of ethernet cable is used? Internet is running fast and great only start dropping frames when i start streaming

when I go to you tube gaming I cant pic closer to my like SF CA there no option only on twitch keep dropping frames still don't know i did everything my upload speed is 42

OMG I have been trying to figure this out for a full day now, just before I went live I had to change some setting and must have turned off "auto" for the server settings. my stream didn't crash but there was a bit more of a delay then usual. literally all I had to do was turn it back on. 😂

Please help.. when i connect wifi with ethernet, i am not able to stream and not get speed in obs but when i use wireless adapter i able to stream and get speed in obs. What can i do to fix this?
