To be fair this is a relatively difficult concept for most casual moviegoers to understand. I had to explain to my Mom after the movie that each new iteration of Spider-Man is another universe, even though they explained this in the movie.

they make it seem like the most difficult thing to understand, when in reality it would be like "ok cool what do we need to fight against". because my other multiverse counterpart isnt going to call me to some basic chores, we saving the multiverse or im not in.
