It's easy to hate Larry Summers...and then you get to know him, and you realize he's earned your hatred...

Of the corporations, by the corporations, for the corporations... it’s not a Democracy, it’s a Plutocracy that we exist in.

Corporations have ALWAYS been greedy, so he's right about that.

I mean my job congratulated us for giving them the best 4 quarters they ever had and what they gave us in lieu of a raise was a pizza party and a 25 dollar gift card to our company store. While i have to work two jobs now to counter inflation, Can't make this 🤬up.

This guy can’t get any creepier or be any more complicit. He’s one of the conspirators or profiteers.

If that guy lived a week in a regular worker’s life he’d cry himself to sleep

Some reports show 54% of every inflationary dollar is corporate profit.

Summers is right about corporations not becoming greedy "all of a sudden". Trans-national corporations always push prices as far upward as they are allowed to get away with.

Why don’t make minimum wage increase on the same rate as inflation ??

"Corporations didn't become magically bad all of a sudden"

Who said they were ever good?

That smug smile on his face as he plays the culturally hegemonic tune of the neoliberal...

Of course someone from the corporate sector would defend corporate greed!!!! And then he even tries to swing it to act as if the excess they're gaining is going to the workers as if they're benevolent!! Smdh

I was working right in the middle of the pandemic..I didn't make anymore money than I was before the pandemic...corporate America is and always will be the problem of America. Like when people finally got high pay per hour...and what happens..everything went up...rent ..food..

Corporate greed is the basis of many of our problems in the USA

Greedy people tend to believe that everone else is greedy too. No empathy or self reflexion.

This guy is exactly the problem with our society. He protects the views of greed and abusing people by demonstrating the exact reason that this is wrong. The few at the top will get all the money and everyone else is just expendable and they do not share these profits with them.

As long as he gets his "fair share" of all the profits he is fine with them.

Who is the one to decide that a company makes too much? There is always going to be a richest man or company in the world.
