Some states don’t allow toilets to be sold, if the tank uses over 1.28 gallons.
Lowe’s in Missouri sells the higher capacity toilets with the larger 2 3/8” exit diameter.
American Standard Champion. Their old advertising showed a bucket of golf balls being flushed.

Now if only more manufactures would hide that curve. What a pain to keep it clean. Some do cover/make it flat, but more $$$
