Surprisingly NOT DIFFICULT engine removal! CAMARO V6 to V8 CONVERSION

Trucking along on the V6 to V8 conversion in my 2002 Camaro. I really don't understand all the people saying it's not worth the effort to swap. This is one of the smoothest drivetrain pulls I've done, no special tools, no fancy equipment, jack stands, an engine hoist, and a dolly, all readily available for under $250 total.

Just dropped my blown LS1 out today using this video as most of my guide. Don’t think I would’ve had the confidence to do it without it as it was my very first engine removal. Went pretty smooth too! Keep up the great work!

I don’t know if your ever going to see this but you saved my butt.

I bought a very solid body but really high mileage 1996 RS
317k miles!
Well the ol 3800 finally kicked the bucket last winter and I was considering just scraping it and eating the loss. But your video convinced me to wedge a lt1 like it always deserved in it.

So thank you for giving me the courage to let a tired old camaro live again.

I have a 94 Z28 that needs a complete refreshing, but the good news is that it only has 140k on the odometer. It has basically been off of the street for the last ten years, and hasn't been driven. Thos is the year I will be able to afford the work to get done.
I had a heart attack, and getting some of the work done on my own would be kinna' tough. You made pulling that old 350 look easy! I was impressed!

My my bought a 97 base camaro from a neighbor for $2k last summer that hadn't run for 13 years with 130k miles on the clock. The engine needed a crank position sensor and a fuel pump. Ran awesome after that, but something broke a month later and now has scary noises in the bottom end. Thinking of pulling and rebuilding or replacing. The car is immaculate. Convertible, red, no rust, clean interior, so seems like the perfect candidate for a replacement rather than scrap or parting it out.

Your video warms my heart and confidence Since I just rescued a non running 95 Z28. I have all the equipment you have in your shop to do it! I did this job before in 1993 when i was a GM tech, with a Electric lift, on a new firebird. thanks for a great how to do video⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

GREAT video bro!! The engine in my 2001 Catfish bought the farm today, and I was considering scraping the thing. But after watching your video, I think I might take on the project of swapping the engine and saving it!! So THANKS FOR POSTING!!!

If I could find this car for cheap, and have a garage, I'd definitely do this. Having a structured settlement sucks. But, this isn't about me. You made this look like a cake walk.

Thanks for making this video my wiring harness when bad in my car. The intro really answered my question if the wiring was engine and interior and it’s not!

You've got a lot of Jay Leno similarities in your speech and general body language. That's kinda cool. Also this helps with me doing my LT1 build!

Just bought a 2002 v6. 3.8 camaro, interior is mint and original, Monterrey maroon paint is great. But it seems to have transmission issues?? I didn't pay much, i hope to swap it some day. Its got a great body, paint, and interior. One ownee 97k miles, it was a old lady and she garaged it, non smoker, back seats are untouched
