During the first eclipse, which I could watch from my yard, anything involving children was closed.
Fear of children not being kept in doors or good supervision outside.
They were worried about lawsuits if children looked at eclipse and damaged their eyes. Was a big deal
Plus, they hoped parents would spend the time together for such a treat from God.
Don't be afraid, enjoy the show. God's signs in heaven are for us.

I live in Ohio and they have already scheduled schools closed on April 8. They say the traffic from tourists will interfere with the busses. But we live in the sticks- no McDonald's, no walmarts, no hotels. Seems fishy to me... makes me wonder if they know something we don't. Maybe the rapture will happen on that day and they know all the children will disappear? If we have to hang on until April, so be it... but I really hope and pray it's sooner. I taught earth science at the high school and college level in Illinois. The New Madrid Fault generated major earthquakes in 1811 and 1812 timeframe.

I am from Southern Illinois. The New Madrid fault would affect a huge portion of the Central US. I can remember when I was small that we would ocassionally feel small tremors.

St. Louis & Memphis would lay in waste, major gas lines would be destroyed, 30% of the nations supply chain would stop due to the Mississippi River damaging shipping, plus the highways 44 & 57 bridges would crumble, the power would go out across 5 to 7 States & I imagine apartments, hospitals, schools, homes, & business buildings would be totaled.

Look at the direction the sun is traveling during all these eclipses. Its traveling west to east. The sun travels east to west. What's incredible is nobody even noticed.
