I have only 5 colours to paint watercolours with, and honestly it's pushed my capabilities and colour mixing skills so much and its forced me to really understand the colour wheel to a point where i can colour match almost without thinking about it. Whilst it might not work for everyone, this approach to getting the right colour taught me SO much.
