As a Y2K baby, I’m so proud to have been alive to experience SpongeBob at his prime. I had several green label items such as the smack and yak amongst others. I love this cartoon with all my heart.

10:26 Pearl and Mrs Puff also had old stock art from around 2000: The one of Pearl jumping with pompoms and the one of Mrs. Puff standing and holding up her fin. I remember them from the old How To Draw book.

This was really cool, especially what goes into the style guides and how they evolved over the last 24 years to fit the "art of the era." Early 2000s feels very early Nick and in line with the show, the late 2000s is very frutiger metro/pop punk, especially with how it fits the Target ad. Now it feels very sleek like modern corporate design. I love the renders and character art though, SpongeBob has some of the strongest of most shows I've seen.

2:01 I think the reason for the different colors has to do with the fact that the designs had to be printed on merchandise, so they had to use cmyk colors because the colors used in the actual show wouldn't print out correctly.

I honestly kinda disagree with the White era, as i'm quite fond and nostalgic of it. I love the more messy shapes the splats take here, and i really liked the font used on Nick DVDs at the time.
You made a really good point of the splat taking on different shapes/objects during the Green label era, it's something I loved with other Nick shows like a rocket for Jimmy Neutron, a ghost for Danny Phantom, a bitten leaf for Wild Thornberrys, etc., I really wish this is something they would do with the current splat.
I'm surprised you made no mention of the Wendy's Krabby Patty as it's probably the most significant (and possibly most controversial) product from the 25th Anniversary.

1:49: This art is also used sparingly in modern times (just sometimes) side-by-side with the cel-shaded/2.5D artwork for SBSP. An example of which is some shiny/transparent-like Sponegbob stickers that I had from Primark sometime ago.
