a few points for the uninitiated: this is one of the easiest camera& gimbal assembly swaps out there - only 1 ribbon cable and 6 screws all of the same size. If you ever tried this on a phantom 4 or mavic, you know what I mean. At the moment, independent sellers are selling 2 pro camera&gimbal assemblies for ~600 on ebay, prices have already come down from what you see below as greater supply of mavic 2 parts hits markets from resellers 'parting out' drones.

Your video is very good. My doubt is. If you change take the camera the Mavic 2 Zoom and put the camera of the Mavic 2 pro or otherwise ... The modes of flights will work normally in the Dji app? When you connect will you recognize whether it's Mavic zoom or pro? Thank you.

Great video showing the detail of how to replace. I did see someone do a test of swapping the Zoom for the Pro Camera and it worked fine. Unless DJI flashes a firmware to not allow it seems like it will work. :)

Thanks for the Video bro, needed a little help, i damaged my gimbal in flight, i was wondering if i could detach the camera from the gimbal assembly itself in any way, thanks please help

If this is the case and you can use the Zoom's camera on the Hasselblad drone and there's functionality of using the dolly zoom effect, that would be awesome. Now, all that's needed to make it an ultimate package is a hand held camera mount with a gimbal device and camera controls.

If I left the camera gimbal guard on once after turning the mavic 2 zoom on and the self check didnt complete leaving the camera in a shutdown. It seems to be fine, have you ever done this with the mavic 2 zoom? Do you think it does damage if leaving the gimbal guard on once after turning it on?

are you sure that the hasseblad fits in, has the same connection and the sistem recognize it as new camera?

Hi. Thanks for this, I’m surprised at how easy it was. I’ve watched both of the tear downs that you’ve done so far. Do you intend to take the motherboards out to expose the SD card level where, I’ll presume, the onboard memory is also located. It would be fantastic if it was simply a case of swapping the 8GB card for a larger one. Take care and catch you later. Peter
