I'm was shook the first time I heard it, and so was Henri!

It is traditional for men to sing women's parts in Chinese opera. It was a great honor for Dimash to sing this duet with Li. Dimash was definitely Li's equal. I'm sure they rehearsed this to perfection, since both artists are perfectionists. Henri, you opened your mouth so wide I laughed out loud. It is a delight to see you with Sabina reacting to songs. You are the yin and yang of Dimash reactors. Hope to see you both again soon. (Patricia, Jerry's wife)

It's also one of my favorite Dimash songs.The blend of two cultures is just perfect. They really complement each other and they perform on a very similar level where nobody tried to 'outshine' the other.

As always great reaction.In Drunken Concubine Dimash and Li Yu Gang, present us by way of dialogue, the tragic love story between a famous Concubine (represented by Li Yu Gang) of the Chinese imperial court and the emperor (represented by Dimash) for that reason the two thrones in the stage. The Concubine dies poisoned as a result of the intrigues of enemies in the imperial court. The emperor is sentencing the Concubine to death (the vocal fry part)The Concubine reminds the Emperor of happy times together but does not change the outcome, the death of the Concubine.Two styles: traditional Chinese and contemporary.
