Though interesting, this was more about the Revolution than Loyalists. I would love to see one on how their loyalty affected their lives and families during and after the war.

About the "acts of Parliament", there were many other acts of Parliament that directly effected the colonists than just the tea and stamp acts. For example, the navigation act which prohibited the colonists from shipping anything to Britain on ships other than British ships. also, colonists were prohibited from manufacturing anything and selling it in competition with manufacturers in Britain, and a good many others as well.

I may be distantly related to Robert Henry Ince who severed in the the British army in Gibraltar during the American Revolution. How can I find out for sure that I am related to him?
