Well said Doc, you got it spot on.Most people with anti- social Personality disorder, are not Psychopaths .For example i had a Fight with my Dad when i was a young man, but i felt bad forn punching him, and i cried and felt terrible for hitting him in self defence.I felt upset, and remorse for my actions, my emotions were very deep and real.I felt so terrible for acting in a anti - social way, but i do feel for people and put myself in there shoes NOT everyone who behaves in a violent angered way is a Psychopath.Im my opinion you explaned psychopathy very well, in my opinion i lashed out because i am borderline, as you know borderlines have trouble with regulating there emotions. Borderlines has very deep emotions, a Psychopath doesnt really feel emotions.I like you Doc, your a nice man.you speak sense.even trained Psychiatrists can confuse ASPD as being Psychopathic, some of the traits are crossover, and are the same, but alot of the traits are very different. so your view and Diagnosis of Psychoaths is the correct one !!!!

Thankyou for explaining and educating people about psychopaths. People think that they are serial killers and dangerous people but they are not. I person with psychosis like schizophrenia or bipolar is more dangerous then a psychopath and they are everywhere in our society so are anti social people. People with psychosis who refuse to see a psychiatrist and don’t take their meds are not only a danger to themselves but to society. These are the people we need to be careful of the most because they can go into a frenzied attack on family and strangers when they are having a break from reality. Hollywood is to blame for this terrible stigma around psychopathy. You are right on the money when you described them. Thank you again. Let’s hope that society will start treating them like human beings and not monsters.

I’m playing catch up. You had mentioned a case about a psychopath in this video that would talk about in your next one. But I didn’t see it in next video referenced ..Psychopaths Part 2. It sounds very interesting. How can we find it?

Hi Dr. Das, I've been enjoying your professional videos (as well as your comedy vids on the other channel!). I just started a series with a psychologist who is helping us understand the many dynamics at play in the true crime genre on YouTube. In today's premiere, some viewers shared that they also work in the mental health field. I referred them to your channel - I think they will find your perspective from forensic psychiatry very interesting! Love your humor and presentation style!

What do you think about Boduszek's studies about psychopathy? His definition is very different

Hello Dr Das. Equanimity 😀 not always easy.
However, thank you for pointing out the misuse of terms and I shall utilise "shame on you" when next I am faced with same. Learning must be our greatest gift. Thank uou again, take care and keep warm

How many times can a yours truly type of person spell equanimity wrong in one video?

I would be very interested to see your psychopathy score on Anthony Ferrira from Brixton. A truly horrific case from 1993. This case was in the national news because of its truly horrific nature and this absolute POS passed through SLAM DSPD Bethlem unit (on his way out to freedom via a forensic bail hostel)

But i think that not all psyhopaths are criminals some are useful part of society, ofc it depends on their personal choice
