OSPF is an example of an interior routing protocol (IGP). It stands for Open Shortest Path First. In this video, I will configure network statements, set the Router id, configure wildcard masks. We will also observe the routing table with OSPF routes configured. All this will be done within Cisco Packet Tracer 7.3.

Hello friend, on packet tracer 5.3, I did exactly the same OSPF configurations you did but with different addressing scheme but neither of the 3 routers can see each other. Can't establish any neighbors.

Hi, should we config router ID ? is it compulsory ? or should we config it on all routers that run OSPF ? thanks

So if this was a real scenario and my packets are going everyway just like the end of this video just give the destination a quick ping to troubleshoot nice
