Thanks for sharing you video on how you print your fabrics. One tip I have to avoid the printing smears make sure to iron the center really well also when attaching you there freezer paper. I noticed in video your fabrics looked loose in center before you printed on it. I love the bubble jet set. It works amazing. I love being able to customize fabrics with my art.

Epson printers are known to use PIGMENT ink in their cartridges. All other home printers use DYE inks for their colors and maybe pigment ink for black. Pigment inks are permanent and can be washed regular. Dye inks will wash out as soon as it gets wet without any treatment. If you are printing in colors keep in mind that the black in your print is not using only black ink (both pigment or dye), but using the other colors to make the color black.

Soda ash is for fiber reactive dyes like Procion or Pro MX. Thanks so much for discovering where you can find Bubblejet 2000 that works with pigment inks. I was searching for a cheap printer that uses dye base ink but now I can use the one I have.

Why not just buy a Sublimation printer?
