Tip: It would be helpful if you iron the cloth to remove wrinkles and place the paper (with double sided tape already on it) on top of it. In this way you won't have to fight to remove wrinkles after sticking the both.

I use freeze paper to back the fabric much easier and timingsaving. Plus freezer paper is reusable too.

I use Terial Magic spray which stiffens the fabric enough to go through the printer on its own. I've used this method to print photos and my kids drawings, etc, onto fabric on my inkjet, to add to memory comforters. You can either wash the stiffness out or just leave it in as it goes softer after a while when handled.

9/23/21: Instead of going through all of this, I just spray some Sulky temporary adhesive on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and stick it down onto some muslin material, which I've ironed before the fact. Cut away any excess, choose a font on your computer and type what's needed. Add a heart, smiley face or whatever and place in your printer, material side down, and print it out. Giving it the room it needs for folding, I get approximately 9-12 labels to a sheet and it works great! You can't go wrong if you do it right with your printer and you can get majorly creative with it. Just sharing.

Thank you so much for this video. I didn't have packing tape but I had some half inch double sided tape. I put it round the edges and three strips in the centre. So far I have used that "taped paper" three times with PERFECT results. For someone who doesn't have a lot of money your video was a life saver. Thank you again (Australia) 😊

But on washing the print will fade or get removed, can u guide how the same will be permanent....

Seems that the sticky fabric spray for temporary holds when sewing would work much easier.

can you tell me what sealer to use on top to keep it from smearing, I printed some on my laser printer, and as soon as I barely touched it, the black ink smeared onto the 100% cotton fabric :(
