You know, they always play it at 12 am on Polish public/national radio, right after national anthem. I like that moment.

I studied this piece when I was a kid, and it was probably one of the toughest things I ever had to learn on piano. But when I did, I felt unstoppable, like I could run a marathon.

Now I understand why my mother encouraged me to learn it when I was a teen. Playing it really helped boost my self confidence, and impressed others listening, but because it is mostly chords I think it's actually one of the easier Chopin pieces to learn.

I got the sheets for this a while back and started learning it and thought, "huh, this is easier than I thought it would be". I found out soon after starting that I was playing a massively simplified version with harmonies omitted.

I had a teacher who was a somewhat famous concert pianist, and she remarked that this polonaise is too difficult for most students who play it. I imagine that has to do with the demands of producing a sonorous yet loud sound. Also, this piece possesses incredible spirit. Bringing it off is quite a challenge

Everyday when I'm coming home from school through the street he grew up on and see all those beautiful houses of Warsaw old town this just kind of plays in my head. One of the most Polish-souding pieces ever written. Makes me soo proud to be Polish, proud to be his compatriot 💕 🇵🇱

This is a masterpiece.Chopin is undoubtedly the best romantic composer. This song is incredibly strong and stunning!!! I m practising it, it s hard but all the work deserves when you hear the final.

I come here from a movie from 1942 named "To be or not to be", by the genius Ernst Lubitsch. This melody is played in the end of the film. Also gotta love Chopin, the man really loved his home country. I don't know so much about Polish history but her people seem like such a brave and wonderful people. Polish people have my respect. ❤️🇵🇱

When Danganronpa taught you more about Chopin's music even though you're Polsih and your music teacher only ever talks about Chopin.

I love this Polonaise. I remember this when I was in college. I bought Chopin's album that had his Polonaises on it. I loved all of them; but, preferred this Polonaise.
