I really despise and don't like Rachel with passion, but for once she actually deserved a solo. My Man was a really good cover. For once I hear her sing with emotion. She always gives emotional faces, but her voice is never emotional (excluding Make You Feel My Love). Santana was really good too with emotions.

While I personally preferred Rachel's solo in this PARTICULAR situation (say what you want about her, but My Man is freaking incredible), Santana & Mercedes are both more talented performers all around, and they'd both be more suited for a Nationals solo because of that. Rachel can sing, but she can't dance for shit. Both Santana and Mercedes ooze stage presence, but I don't know if I'd say the same for Rachel.

I know I’m gonna get hate for this, but Rachel has a damn point whether you guys like it or not Jesse has one for choir championships. He knows what he’s talking about and whether you all like it or not they should’ve built the status around Rachel because she like Jesse is the only other person who actually gives a shit and takes her art seriously.

i wont lie i think mercedes had the best vocals of them all

kurt actually gave some choreo and vocals but i think that song wasnt his best overall

rachel is obviously good but imo i think mercedes out sang her here

and santana really ate that song but it didnt really give that umph that the other had but it was a good performance
