Actually I'm working on an AI based project for now using nextJS, tailwind while having no knowlege in both "BE dev"! The AI assistant helped me a ton on the project and I'm more than happy for the price I payed! Let's say, This is the twin turbo for your car, Use it when you can really drive, Otherwise, You'll crash yourself hard!

I use the demo/trial version of the AI ​​assistant in phpStorm. It was a useful help precisely because it often "guessed" and prepared future code. Not 100%. And he could learn "my style" a bit, but things like that will improve. So it looks like AI assistants will be a "must have" very soon.

Phpstorm with tabnine right now, recently switched from GitHub copilot and am preferring tabnine. I dont know if i can tell if phpstorm ai full line complete is happening.. tabnine i think is handling it.

It doesn't have access to the codebase. So it can't really improve the development time. We need a better AI instrument to train the model on our codebase

IMO Copilot does this better, but a bit slower.

You guys are lucky, I'm stuck here with the default PHP LSP that's in VSCode, I wish my geolocation starts growing and moving away from PHP!
