I glad your healing well! I worked in surgery for years and have been involved with hundreds if not thousands of local surgical cases, the reason your ears were puffer before surgery is the local injection site tends to swell simply because of the amount of lidocaine or the medication of choice injected in that area which forms a rise in the skin that will push out your ears. Follow the DR.ORDERS exactly and you won't have any problems. It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for a complete recovery.

I can relate about being nervous. It's not elective surgery, but I'm getting my first colonoscopy in a little less than a month. Even though I'm nervous, I know I'll be alright...in the end.
