Bangladesh plunged into uncertainty after extraordinary street protests over the job quota forced Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to quit and flee the country on Monday. With the resignation of Sheikh Hasina, the country is now under the rule of the military.
Many Bangladeshi nationals who are currently in India are rushing home as the situation worsens.

It is surprising that Bangladesh would declare independence again and again after a few years, and their citizens will seek to be citizens of India

I am from Odisha, we are relatively a poor state. But still, most House contractors, construction labour here are from Bangladesh. No national media reports this.
Massive illegal migration happens through our 500 Km coastline which is close to Bangladesh.
They work in the state, get Aadhar card, enroll in welfare schemes in complicity with Govt officials, local leaders. NRC was also obstructed in our coastal districts.

I don't hate. Many come here after floods, cyclones. But the least our govt should do is to try and send them back. Or atleast some registration should happen. They are not bad people, similar culture but this should not be without supervision.

We are demanding our belove Sheikh hasinas safety. Bangladesh will be ruled by Taliban and minorities will be in danger. Our prime minister has contributed a lot to the country. We owe India. We want freedom from pro-Pakistan Khaleda

If the GoI doesn't take action ASAP, Assam will be lost to these people who may or may not be radicals. Once Assam is lost, the entire NE is lost since Assam is the gateway to that region.
