My problem with this season is that pure DPS classes can outheal damn hybrids, except hunters.

karma is breaking in 0.1 sec and the other issue is that u die through double wall + karma when the opposite team bursts its just dumb

Great list and explanations, Xaryu. Although a few nitpicky details on healers...

Rdruid is S tier but only if you're nelf IMO. Besides nelf rdruid, the spec should be placed at the top of A tier (like A+). Nelf is extremely broken right now for allowing druids to get off 3-4 drinks in high mmr which is absurd. In caster comps, the problem is exaggerated further since comps like mage/spriest or warlock/spriest just have ton of cc and utility to peel druid for drinks. I think without that added power, rdruid is downgraded from OP to a really strong spec hence it should have that distinction.

Perservation is S tier for other reasons besides its throughput and mana. Nullifying shroud (on average, you need 4-6 globals to purge and knock it off due to trash buffs), basically cc immunity in flight, and casting cc while moving (sleepwalk). The spec virtually has no weakness IMO. Can't really cleave it, can't really focus unless you're SP/Assa and kill in swap. Atleast with druid, there's a decent chance to kill outside of bear for most comps.

Hpala should be C+ because while yes, they have their strong CDs and it enables a lot of the yolo shuffle plays, in between their CDs, their healing is not enough to catch up, especially since rot comps are becoming more prevalent on ladder. They really need some love from blizzard in upp'ing consistent healing and play.

No comment on hpriest or disc, but anytime i play against them, i feel like it's free for melee cleaves or assa/sp to train them. Not sure if blizzard should nerf sp/assa or give priest a buff overall in PVP situations. To me, the latter should occur since IMO, training the healer should never be the "first strategy" in arena. it's more than fine to swap or pull into cleave and kill (like TWD), but i think there's an issue when training the healer becomes the main strategy which seems like the main strategy against priest comps.

these are just my observations from playing in the 2k -2.2k mmr bracket. There could be other and more accurate observations in both lower and higher brackets.

I m Monk main since Mop, and you re 100% right. The nerf of Karma where the amount of blocked dmg and healing get nerfed was terrifying bad.

As a suggestion for next tier list! Do the classes in the order they show at bottom of tier maker, this makes it easier for people to scroll through and find the classes they are interested in!

Enhance shaman needs the nerf on healing reverted from Shadowlands or have a pvp talent baseline or in the talent trees.
Having to choose between all the good utility totems through pvp talents sucks.

Glad ww here, I agree with you 100% my friend. I mean I pre karma a stun go and I still have to trinket it’s redicolous. You should be rewarded for a play like that and karma breaks like a bisquit since ages. Making karma %100 of your hp again would be a great change imo.

Not putting Havoc DH in S tier is interesting to say the least. Solo shuffle aside, they're the 2nd most represented dps spec in 3v3 above 2100, and the highest rated dps players in both NA and EU guess what they play? Both havoc demon hunters. The one and only reason you don't see more demon hunters in the top 100 is because most of those players have been playing the game for 10+ years and they've had other mains for a long time.

Evokers need the nerf hammer. They are just so overtuned, doubling my hpal in healing and 50% mana when I'm OOM. Not balanced.

You talk about if there would be S+ tier you would put some classes there. If you would leave the tank spec out of the list you would have more tiers for specs. Just an idea for your next tier list.

Just for perspective, monks wall is a 6 min CD which Demon hunters get pre much the same effect with a 42 sec CD. Monks defs need defensive buffs.

Post nerf I’m still really enjoying sub roguing on the alt. And fire mage will still always be my favorite. I decided this xpac I’m not playing the FOTM, just playing the specs I enjoy

People need to keep in mind tier lists will change depending on your rating. Just because a class can do X amount of damage or has X amount of survivability etc. Does not mean you will do well with the class.
