RCV 'ZIP TIE TRICK' Boot Install

We often hear of customers who have difficulty installing our Spherical Sealing Boot onto our CV. The reason why you may run into trouble is the CV boot fits so tightly it creates an air lock inside. If you take a zip tie and slide it between the CV and the boot, you can install any size boot with ease by hand! Shown here is our new larger Jeep Dana 44 CV boot for the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon.

Ive always been confused with RCVs branding and marketing? Is it only for offroaders and ATVs or do you guys always make axles for racing IRS/IFS cars?

Does not work. I've been out of breath about 12 times now. Used a dead blow like the other video shows etc. Nothing. Should I melt the boot ?

Are there any issues installing these in a 2018 Rubicon Recon which has the beefier front Dana 44 with factory locker?
