Ahsoka and Rex Escape the Cruiser [4K HDR] - Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex must work together to escape the Republic Cruiser, as seen in a 4K HDR sample I've cut down from the opening of my 4.5 Hour Revenge of the Sith Supercut.

The Following Footage is included in this Fan Edit:

- All of Revenge of the Sith film, save a very small number of shots.
- A Brand new Rewritten Opening Crawl for the Supercut
- 21 Minutes of the 2k3 Clone Wars Battle of Coruscant, recut to fit within the timeline and enhanced in with a new 4K HDR transfer.
- All 4 Episodes of the Siege of Mandalore Clone Wars Season 7 finale arc, recut seamlessly into the events of Revenge of the Sith in roughly chronological order.
- 5 Restored Deleted Scenes (and one new partially restored scene) - Newly AI Upscaled and Improved over the previous releases, just like the Episode I and II Extended Cuts
- The Restored 20th Century Fox Opening, matching the versions used in my other cuts.

The Total Runtime for the Cut is 4 Hours, 19 Minutes and 10 seconds.

Transitions have been tweaked and updated, both audio and video. At this point there are not any more refinements/tweaks I wish to do. I want this to remain the final version for the forseeable future unless a better quality (8K, for example) source for ROTS/Clone Wars is ever made available, or unless some element of the Kenobi/Ahsoka series truly belongs in this cut, but I find that to be unlikely. Frankly, I want this to be the best damned Star Wars film you've seen.

I will not be doing a version without the 2K3 series, or a version of ROTS Extended with only Deleted Scenes. There are other editors who have tackled those projects over the years. I have good reasons to include the footage I have chosen, as has been described in the previous ROTS release videos.

Footage from Bad Batch and Jedi Fallen Order are not included. I stand by my statements that they work much better in their respective original titles, especially since the Bad Batch Order 66 events are meant to be seen from their rather unique POV. I have also decided to keep the TCW final scene in its current placement. No Post Credits Scene in a Skywalker Saga film.

Use the following Google Doc to see the supercut for yourself, then follow the instructions there.

What I love about this scene is that you can clearly see them both getting tired and overwhelmed by the sheer amount of clones shooting at them. Gives a lot of realism to the episode

You can see that Rex still cares for his brother cuz he put in stun on his blasters to not kill them

I forgot they killed the Astromechs, this scene just got a whole lot sadder

The Tribunal careening to the planet's surface as it breaks apart in flames perfectly symbolises the Republic it served. For some, the Empire rose to thunderous applause; for others, complete silence; and for some, in fire and chaos.

Rex and Ahoska’ outfits are dirty and bruised during the fight. Like Anakin and Obi wan’s fight at mustafar.

blaster fire doing slight damage to Ahsoka shows how detailed the show was: a layer of force protects the jedi

The symbolism of The Tribunal careening to the surface is powerful, it, along with the shot of Jesse’s battered helmet at the end of the episode, shows the death of the Republic and the birth of the Empire to a tear jerking T

You know, this finally is even more sad when you realize that Rex is one of the original clones from the beginning of the war, surviving till the end and living on knowing how many of his brothers died for nothing and still fighting for what is right. Good soldiers follow orders, great soldiers keep fighting the good fight.

Honestly just hearing the clones screaming at the last moment was actually heartbreaking. Especially since it felt like they broke free of their chips in the last minute just to snap out of the order for them to try and save themselves

It's been a while a scene instantly flipped me from laughing to mortification. Seeing the droid put it's actuators up made me laugh... until... AND they used the R2 scream sample specifically. That memory is now damaged xD

This scene has an Easter egg. If you listen very carefully, turn the volume all the way up if you need to, you can hear Michaela's screaming when she and Sam Witwiky jumped to another building to escape Starscream's missiles in the transformers movie, Revenge of the fallen

The fact that the Y-Wing survives this moment is also just poetry.
As the Republic falls. The Republic Ship.
The sad end of justice of the republic falling
Leaves behind what it created to stop evil and to keep justice going
The Y-Wing. A last bit of hope and a sign left by the republic to keep the fight going. By surviving the fall. And to form a Rebellion. To keep the justice of the republic alive in its place.
The last fighter from that era. To be in the hands of people who still believe in the old ways. The Rebellion for the old republic.
To later on be the work horse it is in the army for years after the Rebellion
The Y-Wing has been through it all almost
