Показать описание
SAM – Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) is a suite of three instruments: a gas chromatograph, a quadrupole mass spectrometer, and a tunable laser spectrometer. Together they search for and measure the abundances of carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen - elements that are associated with life as we know it.

Great work being done by NASA and the SAM team! I love all the science that goes on 'behind the scenes', so to speak. We have learned so much more than the general public is aware of, even though they (we) are the ones who have had the most benefit from the science NASA does.

I'd love to hear why someone clicks the 'thumbs down' button on a video like this?  Just curious on how others can get to that point.  Assistance please from anyone who is going that route.  Thanks.

Nitrates may be good in making TNT as well. This would be good for when the population escalates on Mars, we can then make armaments and have wars there too. After all, what's a civilization without wars?
