"Tell that to your firstborn"
Burn Rumple HAHAHAHA

Rumple spent a good minute and a half trying to justify his actions to Belle. Took Zelena only 3-5 seconds to dispute it and burn him. Haha.

"When I saved your life back in that New York hospital, I didn't do it out of the kindness of my heart. We had a deal, remember?"

LOLOLOLOLOL ZELENA WOULD MAKE A TERRIFIC DARK ONE.

I love how she was on a rant of how much she doesn’t love him and will run and the moment he felt pain she panicked and looked at Zelena as if she were the devil itself

I wish they could have given rumplestiltskin a break and let him be a better person earlier, it kinda seemed repetitive how he kept going back to his old ways and belle kept leaving and then coming back, wish the writing was a bit more creative

Watching RumBelle this season feels like True Love is almost a curse for them. Like those "dark soulmate" stories where you're just utterly tied to another person - even if they're evil, or abusive, you're doomed to love them. You can leave, but you'll never stop loving them and never truly be able to move on.

Things get really, really dark between these two, and on Belle's end, it's like she can't not love him. She can break things off, leave him, banish him, try to go into hiding, even date someone else - but as she says herself, she'll never actually be over Rumple. She'll always love him, whether she actually wants to or not.

On Rumple's end, he also can't stop loving her, and he tortures himself and her with it. He believes he's impossible to love, but he continues to engage in the same behaviour that's alienated everyone else who's ever cared about him, then he inevitably alienates Belle, and then he goes nucking futs and turns into a psycho ex because he can't stand losing her.

I feel like Rumple is very hard to redeem at this point, but Belle's character also suffers for this cycle they're in. Earlier seasons showed her to be very clever and shrewd, but she's consistently naive where Rumple's concerned. She keeps leaving, but jumps back into his arms anytime he shows an iota of kindness towards her or anyone else. She unquestioningly believes everything he tells her, long after it's become apparent that she shouldn't trust him. He randomly tells her to "see the world" and she's just like, cool ok 😊. Then realizes he manipulated her (again) and GOES BACK because he had good intentions that time. Like dude, you have been through enough BS with this guy to know you should be asking more questions.

I'm ranting lol, but I did love this couple in the earlier seasons. A big part of the charm was that no matter what Rumple was up to, he very clearly and very genuinely loved Belle in a way that actually made him vulnerable and even weaker. The man obsessed with power and control had his heart walking around outside of his body and he knew it and he frequently showed it. His enemies knew it too, and it became far easier to hurt Rumple via hurting Belle. But that's not what's happening here - at this point, he loves her (and their child) like possessions he's entitled too, and it's so much grosser and more toxic. I kinda hate that the show played them this way, it frankly ruined them.

Rumplestiltskin is by far my favorite character. He's enigmatic, ruthless and cunning. But beyond anything else, he's actually honest. He's got no reason to lie. He is who he is. Belle may have her reasons for wanting to leave Rumple, but she has no right to take their child away from him. Rumple DOES love his child and Belle (strangely), and he'd never willingly want them hurt and would do anything for them. One thing I'm disappointed about the show is how they completely changed Belle's personality. Here, she's selfish, hypocritical, self-righteous, judgemental, naive and unwilling to forgive (mostly with Rumple). Which is sad cause Belle's my favorite Disney princess.

"It's one thing Rumplestiltskin is good at, it's finding loopholes." Everyone thinks he's a horrible person, but actually he tells things like they actually are. People hear what they want to hear, not the truth. People think he's cruel and unfair, well sadly, life tends to be that way. Beneath that rough exterior though, beats the heart of a loving and broken man who just wants to be happy.

Belle: You call this love?
Me: Let's be real Belle, he's loved you a hell of a lot more than you ever claimed to love him. Falling for someone and then demanding that they change who they are for you, isn't love.

Somewhere I still believe that their first true love's kiss actually failed because of Belle. She was _trying_ to break the curse, instead of just loving him for who he was like the animated version.

How the HELL did the writers think that after all this time, after everything that happened post season 3 finale, and everything Rumple did to Belle let alone everyone else in that time, that any happily ever after would have these two together? Belle never should have forgiven him. Regina put in the damn work, Rumple refused to change so, so many times and became even worse. In season 7, his goal was to get rid of the darkness completely, but even as one of the few who liked that season I am fully aware of the fact that even with a darkness-free heart, one so pure it was practically blinding, and Emma even with the darkness still held onto the goal to destroy it forever AND SUCCEEDED, he would rather have all the darkness bam and cause suffering. He had the chance for a fresh start the likes no one has ever gotten, the chance to reinvent himself completely corruption-free, and he still chose to be a villain. I’m sorry, but I hate to see Rumple and Belle happy together. It makes me a bit sick, tbh.

Belle just sees Rumple's shop closed, doesn't find him, without considering for a moment that maybe he doesn't need to be in that shop, or in front of you day and night! freaks out and says "oh he's up to something to do to me! I have to escape and never allow him to see this child again"(ignoring the fact that the baby is his too and he has right at least to hug him as an infant)
viewers "Rumple is the bad guy cause he should allow Belle to escape and not expect to ever see his own baby, even as an infant!" well, from the dislike people show towards Henry a child in first seasons, I already knew fans of this show don't exactly have a right brain and I'm glad you were all hurt-butted by the twist of 6x10 which made Belle the actual pawn and mad one this whole time👏👏👏
