Canada vs. Germany - 2023 World Juniors Highlights

After opening the tournament with a loss to Czechia, Canada looked to bounce back against Germany at the IIHF World Junior Championship.

So as a goalie I will go and say that loss for Germany does not sit on Wolf's shoulders that was one of the most atrocious games by a hockey team I've seen in my life

Oh man, I feel so bad for Germany. Imagine, you finish the second period, loosing 9:1...what did they think about in the break? It was such a hit for their minds, I hope these guys won't loose other games in such a cruel way :(

Edited: "Cruel" I meant such a big difference in score. Guys, calm down please. I've watched hockey since I was 10, I am 21 now. I understand this game and how world hierarchy works. No doubt, that it will be a lesson for Germany, but the excellence of Canada is TOO overwhelming and the level of german u20 team is too low in compare with Canada

I'm a born a raised Nova Scotian, and earlier this year I moved to Alberta. I can't believe as soon as I leave, the world juniors come to Halifax with Heave Away as the goal song.. Maybe the energy of this crowd will show people that a Halifax NHL team would be amazing.

As a German I'm always cheering for Canada after Germany... and yeah... I mean it's Icehockey. It's in the Canadian DNA. I still think Icehockey gets more popular here and there are some great German talents waiting to play in the NHL at some point.
